Starter MP3

its an instrumental i just finished writing this morning the finished version can be found on my myspace.

on the intro part i did a feed back but you can also use the e minor pentatonic, but when the bass changes its tune to a more heavy and guitar kinda speeds up, switch to harmonic minor, it seems to fit in pretty good.

Cool, I like what you've done. It's a pretty good mix of the driving distortion with a nice simple bass line. Repetition is a big part of music, and you seem to get that. Love the bass line.

One question before I lead off into something a little different, what did you use to record this and what was your process?

Yeah, I think you would really benefit from a standard rock/metal drum track to play along with. I found it hard to feel the beat, or how well the tune lined up. I would really recommend spending a little while with Reaper and a click track in order to build your tracks up from a really solid foundation.
